Camp Ohana Agricultural Program
We’re teaching children to feed themselves and their families
Food security is an ongoing issue for the children of Camp Ohana. The agricultural program gives the children communal farmland of their own and teaches them practical farming skills. The farmland consists of a cost- and space-efficient vertical farming system in which hundreds of varieties of fruits and vegetables are grown.
In addition to teaching the children the skills they need to become more self-sufficient, the farm produce is distributed to the poorest children and their families. Not only do the children learn important self-sufficiency skills and receive nourishing food, but they enjoy the satisfaction of making a
contribution to the health and prosperity of their community.
A monthly micro-donation of just $5 gives a child access to food and agricultural skills. Please donate now!
