We’re building a global family for Kenya’s forgotten children

Since 2009, Camp Ohana has transformed the lives of hundreds of children with nothing more than a few volunteers and a shoestring budget.
In western Kenya, Camp Ohana is helping today’s most underprivileged children become tomorrow’s community leaders and global citizens. We connect these children to a worldwide “family” (ohana), and deliver multidisciplinary programs that build their bodies, minds, and spirits so they can reach their true potential as they grow.
We help children THRIVE
We’re committed to helping these children thrive, not just survive. In addition to infrastructure projects that bring clean water and more secure food sources to their villages, we deliver programs that help them learn new skills and discover hidden talents through games and sports, the arts, education and literacy, agriculture and sustainability, and cultural exchanges.
We make every dollar count
We’re proud of our ability to do more with less and stretch donations further than any other charity. Because we are entirely volunteer run and have virtually no overhead, we can put more than 95% of donated funds directly towards children’s programs and services.
