Imagine growing up without even having a ball to play with.
Children all over the world love to play, and play is an essential part of their emotional, physical, and mental growth. Without athletic and creative outlets, children can’t explore new skills, gain confidence, and learn how to be part of a team.
Just as important, they miss the chance to discover talents that could lead to a rewarding career and allow them to make a unique contribution to the world.
Before Camp Ohana came to these villages, the children didn’t even have a ball to play with: they had to tie a bundle of old plastic bags together with string. Today, they have programs, equipment, coaches, and teachers to support a range of recreational activities, including soccer, photography, and music and dance.
A monthly micro-donation of just $5 can help bring the spirit of play to these children. Please donate now.
